Corpus NGT

Full Official Name: Corpus NGT
Submission date: Feb. 18, 2016, 5:04 p.m.

The Corpus NGT is the first online video corpus of Sign Language of the Netherlands (Nederlandse Gebarentaal, NGT). It contains nearly 72 hours of dialogues of 92 deaf adults from all age groups and dialect regions. Recording sessions were evenly split between narrative and interactive/discussion genres. Most of the 2375 sessions are publicly accessible from The Language Archive under a Creative Commons BY-NC-SA 3.0 license. Transcription and annotation of the data is a very slow manual process and is ongoing. The accompanying latest public release of the annotations (release 3, June 2015) contains ID-glosses and sentence-level translations of about 12 hours. In addition, this release contains mouth action annotations of a smaller subset.
