**Introduction** DEFT Chinese and English Light and Rich ERE Parallel Annotation, Linguistic Data Consortium (LDC) Catalog Number LDC2026T04, was developed by LDC and consists of 179 Chinese discussion forum documents and their English translations annotated for entities, relations, and events (ERE). Annotation of the Chinese source documents and the English translations was performed independently. DARPA's Deep Exploration and Filtering of Text (DEFT) program aimed to address remaining capability gaps in state-of-the-art natural language processing technologies related to inference, causal relationships and anomaly detection. LDC supported the DEFT program by collecting, creating and annotating a variety of data sources. Light ERE annotation labels mentions of a defined set of entity types and annotates relations and events among those entities, including coreference of entities and events. Rich ERE annotation expands entity, relation, and event types and introduces more detailed tagging, including a more flexible event hopper representation. Further details on the annotation methodology are provided in the documentation accompanying this release. **Data** All source data and English translations in this release were drawn from BOLT Chinese Discussion Forum Parallel Training Data (LDC2017T05). The corpus consists entirely of discussion forum text originally collected under the DARPA BOLT program. This Corpus contains 179 Chinese documents and corresponding English translations annotated following the Light ERE annotation guidelines. Of these, 171 Chinese-English document pairs were also annotated using the Rich ERE guidelines, with Rich ERE annotation performed on top of existing Light ERE annotation. Source documents are presented in plain text format. Annotation files are presented in XML format.
