The Corpus of Song Lyrics ("Songkorpus") comprises multilayer-annotated texts and is designed for linguistic research as well as for related disciplines such as media studies, cultural and literary studies, the social sciences, and musicology. It is intended for scholars with a scientific interest in the language of contemporary German rock, pop, and hip-hop music. The corpus also supports empirical analysis and computational exploration of linguistic and stylistic features.
